If you like to review or modify any part of your User Personal Information or you have not indicated that you do not wish to receive direct marketing material but change your mind about this you should notify us via email hello@finstream.org. As soon as this is reasonably practicable, we will remove your name from the direct marketing database.

8. Cookies

We use “cookies” to collect information about you and your activity across our Website.
A cookie is a small piece of data that our website stores on your computer, and accesses each time you visit, so we can understand how you use our site. This helps us serve you content based on preferences you have specified. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for more information.

9. Business transfers

If we or our assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event that we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, we would include data among the assets transferred to any parties who acquire us. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any parties who acquire us may continue to use your personal information according to this policy.
We may share User Personal Information if we are involved in a merger, sale, or acquisition of corporate entities or business units. If any such change of ownership happens, we will ensure that it is under terms that preserve the confidentiality of User Personal Information, and we will notify you on our Site or by email before any transfer of your User Personal Information. The organization receiving any User Personal Information will have to honor any promises we made in our Privacy Statement or Terms of Service.

10. Security measures

We take all measures reasonably necessary to protect User Personal Information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction; maintain data accuracy; and help ensure the appropriate use of User Personal Information.
We enforce a written security information program. Our program:
⎯ aligns with industry recognized frameworks;
⎯ includes security safeguards reasonably designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and resilience of our Users' data;
⎯ is appropriate to the nature, size, and complexity of our business operations;

⎯ In the event of a data breach that affects your User Personal Information, we will act promptly to mitigate the impact of a breach and notify any affected Users without undue delay.
Transmission of data on the Site is encrypted using SSH, HTTPS (TLS). We manage our own cages and racks at special data centers with high level of physical and network security, and when data is stored with a third-party storage provider, it is encrypted.
No method of transmission, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. For more information, see our security disclosures

11. Communication with the User

We use your email address to communicate with you, if you've said that's okay, and only for the reasons you’ve said that’s okay. For example, if you contact our Support team with a request, we respond to you via email. You have a lot of control over how your email address is used and shared on and through our Site. You may manage your communication preferences in your user profile.
By design, the Site software associates many actions with a User's email address, such as special messages and history of purchases. We are not able to change many aspects of our
Software. We set current Users' email address private by default, but Users may need to update their settings.
Depending on your email settings, we may occasionally send notification emails about changes in Products, new Services, Products and features, requests for feedback, important policy changes, or to offer customer support. We also send marketing emails, based on your choices and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. There's an “unsubscribe” link located at the bottom of each of the marketing emails we send you. Please note that you cannot opt out of receiving important communications from us, such as emails from our Support team or system emails, but you can configure your notifications settings in your profile to opt out of other communications.
Our emails may contain a pixel tag, which is a small, clear image that can tell us whether or not you have opened an email and what your IP address is. We use this pixel tag to make our email more effective for you and to make sure we’re not sending you unwanted email.

12. Limits of our policy

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and policies of those sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy practices.

13. Changes to this policy

At our discretion, we may change our privacy policy to reflect current acceptable practices. We will take reasonable steps to let users know about changes via our website. Your continued use of this site after any changes to this policy will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information.
